A professional level registration for Technicians category. A Qualified Technician who has fulfill the below requirement can be entitled as Certified Technician.
Qualified Technicians need 3 years of practical experience in the related technology fields to apply for Certified Technicians.
They also need to pay RM300 and pass an assessment in the related technology fields.
After passing the assessment, they need to pay RM200 and comply with the Board’s criteria to become Certified Technicians.

Approval
Certified Technicians can approve and certify technical services and use the title “Tc.” or “C.Tech” with their specialization.
Title
Describing themselves or holding themselves out under any name, style or title that includes the word Certified Technician or its equivalent, the abbreviated title “Tc.” before their name, and the abbreviation “P.Tech” and their specialization after their name.
Renewal
Certified Technicians need to renew their title annually with a fee of RM100 and 20 CPD hours.
